Tests Are Not the Early Access Launch

The Gamescom pre-alpha, the February closed alpha, and the June closed beta were limited test builds with their own access periods. Their opening or closing dates do not become the Early Access release date after the test ends. The useful distinction is simple: a test announcement grants temporary access to a test, while the Steam store must change from Coming Soon before the paid Early Access launch can be treated as live. 3 4
